2016 Native American WWI & WWII Code Talkers Sacajawea Wire Wrapped Pendant with charm

$45.00

Only 1 available

This is an un-circulated 2016 Native American WWI & WWII Code Talkers (Sacajawea) $1.00 coin that has been wire wrapped in 22 ga. gold filled wire. One side has Sacajawea. The reverse side has Code Talkers (as shown in the second picture.) A small gold plated feather charm hangs from the bottom of the pendant.

Note some of the coins have slight blemishes from the minting process but none of the coins that I have wrapped have ever been in circulation.

If you would like a 20" 18k gold filled 2.2mm neck chain I have them available for $6.00. Please let me know prior to purchase and I will add it to your total.

The Sacajawea coins are about the size of a quarter. They are gold plated coins. The first year they were circulated was 2000. They are still being minted today but in fewer numbers.

Sacajawea, was a Lemhi Shoshone woman who helped the Lewis and Clark Expedition achieve each of its chartered mission objectives exploring the Louisiana Purchase. With the expedition, between 1804 and 1806, she traveled thousands of miles from North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean, established cultural contacts with Native American populations, and researched natural history.

Native American Code Talkers served in our Armed Forces during World Wars I and II by using their native language in what proved to be an unbreakable code to communicate during the war. Code Talkers from many different Tribes contributed to this effort. This historic contribution is honored on the reverse of the 2016 Native American $1 Coin.
